Step 1:

1. Press Applications
   
   
2. and select Email to open the VersaMail application.
   

Step 2:

• If this is the first email account you've set up in VersaMail, you’ll see an initial setup option. Select Continue (not pictured).
• If you've already set up one account in VersaMail, you’ll see the Inbox. Press Menu From the Accounts menu, select Account Setup. Then select New (not pictured).
• Enter your email address and password (pictured).
• Select Next.

Step 3:

Select the Mail Type pick list, and then select POP or IMAP,

Enter the username you use to access your email.

Enter the names of your incoming and outgoing mail servers.

* IMAP: Incoming Server Name
Imap.islandemail.com
* Pop: Incoming Server Name
Pop.islandemail.com
Click advanced.

Step 4:

Click Next On the Advanced Settings screen for incoming.

Step 5:

1. Enter the outgoing port number 2525
2. Check Use authentication
3. Username = email address *
   password = password *
   * or domain / island

Step 6:

1. You'll see a message that says: Account Created - Email setup is complete. Would you like to get mail for this account now?
2. Select Yes.
   

Step 7:

1. Notice the spinning blue wheel. This is how VersaMail informs you that it is processing a manual email sync request.
   
   
2. You can navigate to other applications on your Centro while email is syncing.

Step 8:

To set up additional email accounts open email, press Menu , go to Accounts and then select Account Setup.

Select New.

Note that you can also edit or delete an email account from this screen.

Step 9: Receive and view messages

Make sure your phone is turned on.

Press Applications and select Email to open the VersaMail application.

From any mailbox, select Get.

From the Inbox, select the message you want to view.

If a large incoming message is truncated, select More

Select Done.

Step 10:

Select Done to finish setup and go to the inbox of the account you set up, where you can begin getting and sending email.

You are now ready to send and receive emails!
