How to Set Up Microsoft Windows Mail (Vista)
to Send and Receive Email
Step 1:
Open Microsoft Windows Mail (Vista).
Step 2:
Load Windows Mail from the start menu.
From the menu bar select 'Tools', then 'Accounts'. In the window that opens, click the 'Add' button.
Step 3:
Click 'E-Mail Account' and then select 'Next'
Enter the name you wish to show on outgoing e-mails and click 'Next'.
Enter the Islandemail e-mail address you wish to add and click 'Next'.
Type 'pop.islandemail.com' into the POP3 incoming mail server name box and 'mail.islandemail.com' into the SMTP outgoing mail server name box. Click 'Next'.
In the 'Account Name' field, type in your Island E-Mail User Name and in the 'Password' field enter your island E-Mail Password. Click 'Finish'.
Your e-mail address is now set up in Windows Mail ready to send and receive e-mail.
